My story

Hello, I’m Nikita. 🐾 4 years old | Female | 8kg | Terrier Mix I may be small in size, but my heart is steady and quietly strong. I'm an 8kg terrier mix, once rescued from the brink of euthanasia at a shelter. Since then, I've been living each day gently, savoring the peace and calm that life has to offer. I’m not the kind of dog who needs to be the center of attention. I prefer quiet spaces and cozy corners over noisy, busy environments. I find comfort in stillness — lying down, resting, watching the world go by with soft eyes. I don’t mind being alone; in fact, I know how to enjoy my own company. But please don’t mistake that for coldness — because once I trust you, I’ll quietly come sit beside you, leaning in with all the warmth in my little body. New places and new people can make me a little shy at first. Give me a day or two, though, and you’ll find me softly following you around, showing my affection in quiet, sweet ways. I love treats, and once we’ve built trust, simply sitting next to you will be my favorite place to be. I’m gentle and sensitive. I may step away if young kids or unfamiliar dogs come too close, but I never snap or growl. I’m a peaceful soul who coexists easily — even cats don’t bother me. I like going for walks, but indoors, I’m calm and quiet. I rarely bark, and I know how to just be — peacefully, mindfully, lovingly.
