My story

This is Otis! We picked him up at animal control in Norwich Connecticut on 9/5/25. Animal control said he was found on the streets of CT and is probably about 5 years old. He was not neutered when we picked him up, but is now neutered and up to date on all vaccines and has no pre-existing conditions. He is a very sweet boy with a lot of energy and absolutely starving for attention. He is doing well with a strict bathroom schedule of three 20 minute walks a day and eating once in the morning and once more around 5pm. He loves other dogs and wishes cats would love him back. He is apprehensive of other people but warms up pretty quickly. He is crate trained and knows basic commands like sit, paw and stay. Otis would do well in a home with other dogs and with pet owners who have a flexible schedule.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Otis, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
