What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.Blinky tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. She may be a little more independent and may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.A volunteer writes: Meet Blinky! This palm-size cutie was found on a residential block with her pal Inky (237814) and no caretakers in sight. Now she's at the Care Center getting more comfortable with her growing human fan club every day. It helps that shy Miss Blinky likes treats, which help her let her guard down. She also responds to sweet talk, coming out of her cat condo and allowing gentle head scratches when staffers speak to her softly. Our behavior team describes Blinky as mellow and curious, and she'd be a great fit for pet parents who understand that timid cats like Blinky benefit from some adjustment time in a new home before their true sweetness and confidence emerge.
