My story

Meet Cookie! He is almost 14 years young, weighs about 14 pounds, is neutered and he is the most loving lil' guy there is! He is currently living in a foster home so please email us at pets@michianapets.org to request an application. He loves car rides and is the best shotgun rider around. Cookie also loves daily walkies and will continue to benefit from them. He is a tad overweight and has some arthritis so losing weight and staying active will only help him become more comfortable! We would consider Cookie an extrovert; especially if you have a yummy snack! He loves food! Ideally, Cookie would be adopted into a home that is overall quieter; a lot of commotion is not something that makes him thrilled. Cookie has done great with calm, respectful dogs who are gentle with him. We've only seen him around dogs near his size (give or take 10ish pounds) but he may do well with larger dogs as long as they are polite. We think kiddos in the home should be around 11ish years and older as they have never lived with children. He is not able to go down stairs but he can get up them. If there are stairs in the home, they will need to be blocked off so he does not fall down them. Cookie gives the sweetest kisses and loves to snuggle while napping. Adopt Cookie!
