Pixie 🐾 Breed: Bluetick Coonhound / Blue Heeler / Jack Russell Mix (Best Guess) 🐾 DOB: 06/30/2025 🐾 Weight: 3 lbs (and growing!) At just 12 weeks old and weighing only 3 pounds, Pixie may be tiny, but she is mighty. This little fighter came to rescue at just 8 weeks old, weighing a fragile 17 ounces as the runt of the litter. She was dehydrated, malnourished, and battling tummy troubles — but with round-the-clock care from a dedicated team of volunteers and her loving foster family, she slowly began to thrive. Pixie is like a living “mystery box” — part Bluetick Coonhound, part Blue Heeler, part Jack Russell, and all-around one-of-a-kind! Whether she stays pocket-sized or grows into a spunky, energetic pup, she’s sure to surprise and delight her forever family every step of the way. Now a healthy, spirited little girl, Pixie loves to play, explore, and soak up all the love and attention she can get. She’s smart and already learning to sit politely for treats. Like all puppies, she’s still mastering potty training and will need consistency and patience as she continues to grow. Pixie’s journey has been filled with challenges, but she’s proven to be resilient, joyful, and full of life. She’s ready to bring her big personality and tiny tail wags into a forever home that will treasure her as much as we do. All Heart of America Humane Society dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Adoption fee: $225 for all dogs.
