My story

This is Leonard who is a one-year-old boy! Leonard's breed is a best guess, and we think he is a Catahoula mix. He is great with other dogs, big and small. He loves being outside running and playing with other dogs. He is learning the ins and outs of leash walking and does better when he is wearing a harness. Leonard was found at the lake along with 21 other puppies from different litters. His difficult start in life has made him cautious and sometimes fearful. However, he is a sweet and loving boy who needs a patient and understanding family. Recently, Leonard underwent desensitization training with his foster family, which has greatly improved his confidence. He loves playing with his foster siblings, and his favorite toys are squeaky tennis balls. 🎾 Leonard would thrive in a home with a well-balanced dog who can help guide and support him as he continues to grow.
