Leonard Needs a Fresh Start 💙 DOB: 03/11/2024 | Catahoula Mix | 1 Year Old Leonard didn’t get the gentle beginning every puppy deserves. He was found at a lake—scared, unsure, and surrounded by 21 other puppies from multiple litters. He wasn’t just abandoned; he was forgotten. That kind of start leaves marks. And while Leonard is safe now, he’s still healing. He’s a good boy. He loves other dogs—truly thrives when he’s around them. Big or small, he finds comfort in their presence. He loves the outdoors and his favorite toys are squeaky tennis balls. 🎾 He’s still working on his leash skills and feels most confident in a harness. He’s made big strides in his foster home, thanks to consistent desensitization training and the patient love of his foster siblings. But Leonard isn’t meant to stay in limbo. What he needs is a forever home with someone who sees his potential—not just his past. A calm, well-balanced dog in the home would be the perfect guide and friend for Leonard as he continues to grow.
