Beaux

My story

Hello,My name is BEAUX (pronounced Bo). I am approximately 3 years old. My DNA test says I’m 67% Pomeranian and the remaining is Maltese and Yorker. I have been with the Finch family for a little over a year now. My past is kind of fuzzy but all I know is I was with a family who could not take care of me and thought about leaving me on the streets. That is when my recent family jumped in and rescued me. Since then, I was able to go to the vet, get my shots, get neutered, and even get my teeth cleaned! They have showered me with love and affection whenever my heart desires it. I have had to help them through the loss of their teacup Chihuahua, Tip, who left us a year ago today at the age of 14. Since then I have been an only fur baby. I love love love the dog park and other dogs and cats. I enjoy playing with the neighborhood cats and they have taught me boundaries. At the park I am very popular and people love to play with me. I have a ton of energy and would need daily walks and park visits, a backyard would be a super plus! Why is my prior family looking for a new home for me? Well, the kiddos have moved out of the house and it is just me and mom. Unfortunately her job requires her to travel most weeks and I cannot be left alone. When the kids were here, they could share joint responsibilities for me but they both live significantly far away from where I am in Gwinnett. My mom does not want to let me go but she wants to do the right thing and make sure I have all the love and attention I need. I am a good boy, I listen most times. When I do not listen it is because I think I know what`s best for me but, if you are patient with me I will eventually do what I am asked. I do obey commands such as sit and let`s go. I love to hear let`s go. My mom takes me on car rides all the time with her to do errands so that is a plus if I can ride with you sometimes, maybe even get a pup cup while we are out. My mom also cooks me food weekly but that is not required, I still eat the dry kibble but it is a treat to have ground turkey and chicken and vegetables. Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself to see if your organization will consider finding a home for me.
