My story

🥞🐶 Meet Pancake! 🐶🥞 This 7-month-old Puggle pup is as sweet (and bouncy!) as his name. Pancake was purchased from a local store, but his family quickly realized his high energy was too much for their young special needs child. With the store refusing to take him back and the breeder/puppy mill out of state, they didn’t want to risk surrendering him to a shelter. Thankfully, a mutual friend connected them to us, and Pancake is now safe with ALDR. 💙 Pancake is all puppy! He loves everyone he meets but still needs to learn some manners and doggy social cues—because if he isn’t already playing, he’ll bark and howl to demand it. 🤭 ✅ Fully vetted & up to date on care 🗓 Neuter scheduled for early November 🏡 Searching for a Foster-to-Adopt home now!
