Poco

My story

Poco is a Chihuahua looking for a devoted companion to give him the one-on-one attention he craves! Surrendered to a shelter and overlooked for weeks, our rescue stepped in to give him a second chance. He quickly bonded with his foster mom and loves being her 24/7 shadow, especially burrowing under blankets in her lap. Poco is housetrained but may mark indoors, so belly bands could help. He does well in a crate when left alone. Poco gets along with dogs and cats but can be grouchy with them, especially if they get too close when he’s with his person—he prefers to be the center of attention! Estimated to be 3-5 years old, he has a sponsored dental for his adopter and mild seasonal allergies that can be managed with vet guidance.
