My story

This sweet baby guy is getting necessary vet care, plus some extra TLC as our volunteers dote on him and make sure he is enjoying the good life. So far he's showing us that he's just darling, well mannered, knows how to walk on a leash, sit, drop, fetch, etc., and he's almost up to his vet-recommended healthy weight. (He came into the shelter really skinny!) He's good with other dogs, both big and small. He also seems to be OK with cats -- he'll sniff them, then run away if they hiss at him. This guy is a happy, ball-toting sweetheart. He has been doing well in all situations, even went to the recent Run/Walk for the Fallen, but he is a little timid (he didn't like the SLR camera for this photoshoot so a phone was used instead), but he's ready to expand his world and keep gaining confidence.
