My story

Meet Mia – a sweet, loving, and devoted girl ready to find her forever home!Mia is a total lap dog who loves to cuddle and will happily be your shadow wherever you go. She enjoys sleeping in bed with you, but she’s also content to curl up in a cozy spot nearby when you’re busy. Full of love and affection, Mia is great with kids and other dogs her size. While she hasn’t been around larger dogs, she has a bestie in her foster home who keeps her company and makes her feel safe. She would thrive with a doggy companion to share snuggles and adventures.Mia’s journey has been remarkable. She was found as a stray while pregnant and gave birth just a few days later with our help. She had six healthy babies and proved to be an incredible mom. All her babies have now been adopted, and it’s Mia’s turn to find the loving family she deserves. Despite her unknown past, she has blossomed into a gentle, affectionate, and sweet girl.At around 2.5 years old and weighing just 10 lbs, Mia is ready to share her love and warmth with a family who will appreciate her devoted, cuddly nature. She’s the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal, gentle, and loving little shadow. Mia is fostered in Fort Worth, Texas.All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas, Colorado, or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
