My story

This green-eyed beauty came to us at the start of August as a transfer from an overcrowded shelter. His past a mystery, but his future full of hope. Still under a year old, Leon is the perfect mix of sweetness and curiosity. You’ll spot him right away thanks to the adorable white patch on his chest, shaped almost like a diamond. It's a fitting symbol for a cat as precious as he is. Upon arrival, he needed a little TLC to recover from a common upper respiratory infection and an intestinal parasite. Thankfully, he was in excellent hands under the care of our wonderful healthcare team, who made sure he had everything he needed to get healthy and strong. Now that he’s been fully cleared for adoption, he’s ready to leave his recovery days behind and start his next chapter with you. Come meet this little "diamond in the rough." He’s polished and ready to shine in your home! The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. If you are not available during those times, special arrangements for a meet and greet may be able to be arranged by emailing arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com.
