My story

Phoebe is a gentle senior gal with a heart full of love. At 12 years young, she’s happiest curled up next to her favorite humans, enjoying the quiet life and soaking up all the snuggles. She may be shy at first and needs a little time and space to settle in, but once she feels safe, she blossoms into a sweet and affectionate companion. Though she’s mostly a couch potato, Phoebe still gets adorable bursts of playful energy that will brighten your day. She gets along well with other dogs, but a meet and greet is required to ensure a good match. She’s also lived with cats before and may do well with feline friends given a slow and thoughtful introduction. Because she’s small and appreciates gentle handling, we recommend a home with children aged 7 and up who understand her need for space and can be calm and respectful as she warms up. Phoebe is looking for a calm, loving home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by warmth, kindness, and cozy blankets. If you’re ready to open your heart to a mellow pup with a lot of love to give, Phoebe might just be your perfect match!
