My story

I was born on the mountainside of Bukhansan, where my mama bravely raised me and my siblings before we were all rescued. Now, just like my brothers and sisters, I’m safe—and waiting for the one thing I’ve never had: a forever family of my own. I'm still a puppy, full of potential and learning every day. New places, loud sounds, and unfamiliar people can be a little scary for me at first. But once I feel safe, I start to show my sweet, curious, and playful side. With your love and patience, I’ll grow into a confident and happy companion. I’m currently in a foster home in Korea, and I’m doing really well with potty pad training! But when I move to a new home, I might need some time to adjust. Please guide me gently—I’m eager to learn, and I try my best to make you proud. I love people, especially my trusted humans. I tend to bond closely with my caregiver and follow them around for comfort and security. I also get along with other dogs at the dog park, but I do feel overwhelmed when dogs are too pushy or energetic around me. Since I’m still young, I can get into mischief—like chewing things around the house—so I’ll need some puppy-proofing and supervision. I’m not being naughty, I’m just exploring! With positive training and structure, I’ll quickly learn what’s okay and what’s not. I can go for walks, and I enjoy them—but I still get nervous in unfamiliar environments, so a double leash/harness setup is a must for my safety. I may be shy, but I also have a brave little heart. With slow exposure, kind encouragement, and consistency, I’ll blossom into the joyful pup I’m meant to be. All I need is a family who will be patient, loving, and willing to grow with me. I may be unsure at first, but once I trust you, I’ll give you my whole heart—and never look back. Are you the one who will show me what home really means? I’m ready when you are. 💛 With love, San 🐶
