My story

Hi, I'm Fudge! 🐶🤍 I may have had a tough start in life, but I haven’t let that dim my spirit. I'm a young female Brittany Spaniel mix, about 1 year old, and I’m now ready to leave my painful past behind and start a brand new chapter—with you! I was rescued from a very difficult situation, where I lived in neglect and abuse alongside my parents and siblings. But ever since arriving at the training center, I’ve been showing everyone just how resilient and joyful I can be. I’m friendly, curious, and full of love—I get along well with other dogs, and I’ll even trot right up to new people to say hello with a wagging tail! As a Brittany Spaniel, I have a strong desire to bond closely with my humans. Pleasing you is my biggest goal! I’m smart, loyal, and have a natural curiosity about the world. That means I thrive on daily mental and physical enrichment—walks, games, training, or even just sniffing around the yard. Without it, I might get bored and find my own (not-so-great) ways to entertain myself. But don’t worry—my energy level is pretty manageable. I don’t need constant action, just regular walks and attention, and then I’m perfectly happy to relax at home. I didn’t get much socialization as a puppy, so I’m still learning about the world. I’ll need a family that can patiently teach me things like outdoor potty routines and the basics of life in a home. I respond best to positive reinforcement—gentle guidance, treats, praise, and love. Harsh training methods aren’t for me—they make me anxious and confused. What I need most is someone who sees the bright, beautiful dog I already am—and is willing to walk beside me as I continue to grow. With consistency, kindness, and your love, I’ll blossom into the most loyal and loving companion you could hope for. I’m ready for a fresh start.
