ALL ABOUT ME  Name: LuLu Age: 8 years old Gender: Female Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Pomeranian Colour: White Weight: 3kg/ 6.6lbs Microchipped: Yes   MY RESCUE STORY Hi there! My name is Lulu. I was rescued from an illegal puppy mill where life was very tough and full of neglect. But thanks to the love and care I’ve received since being rescued, I’ve blossomed into the sweet pup I was always meant to be. Now, I’m safe, happy, and ready to leave my dark past behind as I search for my forever family who will love me the way I deserve.   MY HEALTH Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete) I’ve been spayed and healthy overall. I have some corneal ulcer scarring due to the terrible environment I was in.   MY PERSONALITY I’m a sweet, calm girl with a heart full of love to give. I’m super adorable and lovely, and you’ll notice my charm the moment we meet! Don’t let my senior age fool you—I still have plenty of energy to enjoy playtime, walks, and snuggles with my forever family.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS With People: I love meeting new people and soaking up all the attention and pets I can get! You can easily pick me up—after all, who could resist this little cutie? I also love showing my belly as a sign of trust, whether it’s to new friends or people I already know.   With Dogs:  I enjoy meeting new dog friends and having fun playtimes! I get along best with dogs my size or smaller, as big or high-energy pups can sometimes overwhelm me.     With Cats:  I haven’t had much experience with cats yet, so my reaction is still a little unknown. That said, when I do spot a cat during walks, I get curious and take a quick peek—but I quickly lose interest and happily continue exploring. With careful introductions, I may do well in a home with a cat-savvy feline friend!   ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I have a moderate energy level—I’m the best of both worlds! I enjoy getting outside for some fun and fresh air, whether it’s a nice walk or a bit of playtime. But once we’re home, I’m more than happy to curl up beside you and be your cozy little shadow. I know when to be active and when it’s time to just relax and enjoy the quiet moments together.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m used to being picked up, and I love going on walks this way! I’m still learning to walk confidently on leash, as I enjoy taking my time to sniff and explore rather than rushing through. Busy, noisy areas can make me nervous, so I do best in quieter environments. I don’t guard my food from people, but I can be a little sensitive if other dogs come near my bowl, so separate feeding works best. I know how to rest calmly in my kennel and I’m potty trained both indoors and outdoors.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m looking for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that offers a safe, structured, and calm environment. A family that enjoys spending quality time together indoors & outdoors. A family that can shower me with love and attention. A family that is willing to guide me with patience and love for basic obedience training and leash walking. A family who understands my love for food and willing to train me so I can learn to be more patient when other dogs are around.   SPECIAL NOTES Staff and volunteers often describe me as a calm, gentle, and quiet girl. I have a serene nature that makes me a wonderful companion for those who enjoy a peaceful home. I can get a little overwhelmed around high-energy puppies, so I get along best with dogs who share a similar calm temperament.
