My story

DOB: 07/14/2021Weight: 11.2 lbsSex/Breed: Neutered male MalteseRescued From: Breeding kennelMeet Barkley, a gentle and sweet pup with big, soulful eyes that seem to watch your every move. He’s still a bit shy, but you can tell he’s trying hard to be brave and is making great progress. Barkley follows his foster mom everywhere and loves to stay close—he’ll even watch from the bathroom door while you brush your teeth. While being in a home is a brand-new experience, he seems very curious about his surroundings. He gets along great with cats and absolutely loves other dogs. He would do best in a home with a dog friend to help him feel safe and confident. Barkley recently had a big breakthrough and started playing with toys, and he’s even had a case of the zoomies! He’s still working on potty training, but with time and patience, he’s going to make an amazing companion. Please help us find Barkley the forever home he so desperately deserves!
