My story

Meet Curly!Curly is a sweet 13lb poodle mix who’s as gentle as they come. He’s a quiet little guy who finds shelter life overwhelming, and he’s ready to trade it for the comfort of a calm, loving home.Curly is shy and still figuring out that the world isn’t such a scary place. He’ll need a patient adopter who understands the importance of giving him space and time to decompress. Once he feels safe, his brave side shines through—and with the right guidance, he’ll blossom into the snuggly lap dog he’s meant to be.Curly gets along well with other dogs, big and small, and they seem to give him confidence. A home with a friendly canine companion would be a big plus. Because he’s easily startled, Curly isn’t a match for households with young children, but he’d thrive in a quiet, steady environment where he can set the pace.Curly may not hop right into your lap on day one, but stick with him, and he’ll reward you with all the loyalty and love you could hope for.Thank you for showing an interest in our pets.
