Click here to learn more about the adoption process!A volunteer writes: Once known as an easy going superstar, Leo was brought to us due to a move. He came in hopeful and happy for the new start he believed would be coming his way, but shelter life can be wearing and Leo's brightness seems to be dimming. There are lots of ways to make new friends and Leo seems to understand this. All snug is the corner isn't always most conducive to meeting them, but Leo sits and dutifully sorts through the daily hum of activity - a big ask for anyone but especially someone as gentle as Leo. Coming up to the front is a wonderful way to meet people or responding in kind to their initiative would certainly be more helpful, but Leo's been trying to get to know people in his own way, admittedly, with mixed success. He loves treats and will happily accept them and though it might take a little longer to earn his friendship, we know it'll be so worth it.
