My story

Meet Luke Skywalker, the chosen one… or at least he thinks so! This spunky tabby and white cat is full of energy and ready to bring balance to your galaxy (or maybe just chaos to your living room). Luke loves attention and thrives on being the center of your universe—er, home. Don’t let his questionable haircut fool you—this Jedi-in-training is as confident as they come and will zoom through your halls faster than the Millennium Falcon on hyperdrive. Whether he’s chasing toys, exploring new worlds (like under the couch), or soaking up all the pets and love you can give, Luke is always ready for his next adventure. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to join you on your journey, Luke Skywalker is ready to say, “May the purrs be with you.” Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
