My story

Meet Sadie – Your Sweet, Easygoing Companion Sadie is a 10-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing 13 pounds, and she’s as gentle and loving as they come. This little lady adores spending time with volunteers, whether it’s going for a short walk or simply hanging out together. Sadie keeps a clean kennel, though she much prefers being with her people instead of cooped up. She’s calm, easygoing, and happiest when she can just relax by your side. She knows her name well, is super sweet, and clearly longs for the comfort of a home again—she’s a little sad here at the shelter because she’s used to being part of a family. Sadie would love nothing more than a loving home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by people who adore her. Her minimum adoption fee is $200 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
