My story

Quick Facts • Name: Samgeum • Age: 4 years old (born January 2021) • Gender: Female • Spayed: Yes • Breed: Shiba–Jindo Mix • Color: Brown & White • Weight: 15 kg / 33 lbs • Microchip: Yes   My Health Heartworm: I was heartworm positive when rescued in 2024, but I received full treatment and now test negative.   My Personality I’m the kind of girl who makes people feel comfortable right away. Even if we’ve just met, I’ll happily let you pet me, and if I trust you, I’ll even roll over and show you my belly. I’m calm, steady, and not the type to cause a fuss I like to take life at an even pace. New places don’t worry me; I adapt quickly and enjoy exploring while staying grounded. People often say I’m easy to be around and gentle by nature.   My Social Life • With People: I enjoy people’s company and lean into affection. I haven’t spent time with very young children, but I’m comfortable with gentle handling and being carried. • With Other Dogs: I like polite greetings with other dogs, especially calmer ones. I do best with pups who have a balanced energy and prefer not to roughhouse. I’m especially kind with smaller dogs and get along beautifully with my friend Yeogeum. • With Cats: I haven’t met cats yet, but I’m open to learning.   On My Walks I’m an experienced walker who doesn’t pull on the leash. I enjoy strolling at a natural pace, stopping to sniff, and following my human’s lead. Walks are my time to enjoy the outdoors, and afterward, I love settling down for quiet rest.   Life at Home I’m a peaceful companion at home. I rarely bark, I’m well-mannered, and I’m comfortable using both indoor pads and outdoor spaces for potty time. I don’t guard my food. Overall, I’m the type of housemate who blends in seamlessly and brings a sense of calm to the household.   My Ideal Home I’d love a home that appreciates a dog with a gentle heart and an easygoing spirit. I’ll thrive with people who enjoy quiet companionship as much as outdoor adventures. Whether you’re a single adopter, a couple, or a family with older kids, I’ll bring steadiness, affection, and warmth to your life.   I may not demand the spotlight, but once I’m in your home, you’ll find I’m the kind of companion who makes every day brighter simply by being there. I’m ready for my forever family and I can’t wait to meet you.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here!Samgeum’s YouTube Playlist ##2515034##
