My story

What a handsome big puppy! Grover is an 11-month-old Black Mouth Cur* mix. He has been bounced around a lot and he needs a stable environment where he can thrive. He is a shy, reserved guy who needs someone who will show him lots of love but allow him to adjust at his own speed. Grover is anxious when his family is not at home so we are looking for a home where someone is home most of the time. He is dog friendly and we think he would do great with a confident canine buddy to show him the ropes. If you have another dog in the home, we require a meet and greet. We don’t know how he does with cats but will cat test him soon. Small children would probably scare him so we will only consider a home with older kids. We are looking for a home with a fully fenced yard for this sweet boy. We know there is someone out there to help this sweet boy reach his full amazing potential. You can meet Grover on Saturdays from 10-2 at Dogs Forever, 809 Rockford Rd SW in Cedar Rapids.
