My story

Meet FERRIS, a short haired orange and white tabby teenager kitten with as much personality as his namesake, Ferris Bueller. He has white tuxedo markings along with a white blaze on his nose. Ferris is a “people person” – he loves human contact. Confident, spunky and affectionate, Ferris will play until he’s exhausted – and then make a beeline for the nearest available lap for some R & R! He purrs easily and often.  A happy little guy, Ferris warms up immediately to new people and new situations. Although curious about the outdoors, he does not dart to escape. Ferris and his siblings were born to a feral cat and fostered from birth so he is well adjusted and confident with new people and in new situations. He is sweet natured and comical – perfect, in fact for someone who will enjoy both his antics and his affection. Ferris would love to be adopted with one of his siblings, CAMERON or SLOAN (the two other teens in the Ferris Bueller movie). He is sure to bring lots of love and laughter to his forever home. FERRIS has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is negative for FeLV and FIV. His adoption fee includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Ferris in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $175 adoption fee ($320 for a pair) allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
