My story

Chocolate is a 2-year-old female German Shepherd cross who urgently needs a stable, loving home. Her original owner raised her from a puppy but has now decided not to keep her. Unfortunately, she’s been passed from home to home due to the owner's poor adoption decisions, which has deeply affected her. As a result, Chocolate has developed severe separation anxiety and may cause damage if left alone. We’re looking for someone experienced with dogs, with no other pets, and who can be with her most of the time to help her regain trust and stability. Chocolates current foster spent only half a day with her, and she completely attached—following the foster parent everywhere, trying to protect her. On their walk, Chocolate responded beautifully to praise and began listening to her fosters directions instead of pulling. Chocolate is smart, loyal, and eager to please—she just needs the right person to show her consistency and love. Please, if you or someone you know can help, reach out.
