Louise

My story

Louise is a gorgeous black and tan Lab/Border Collie/Aussie mix with lots of puppy energy and a heart full of love! She’s still working on house training but is a quick learner and would do best with older, dog-savvy kids who understand her playful nature. On her doggy days out, Louise showed us she walks well (for a puppy!) on a harness, LOVES splashing in the water, enjoys pup cups, and rides well in the car. She didn’t seem to mind cats during her visit to the cat rooms, but slow introductions are best. Louise can be dog selective, so a meet-and-greet is required. She may do best with a bigger, active dog who can keep up with her energy. If you’re looking for a spirited, adventurous companion, Louise could be your perfect match! Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $275+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
