My story

Meet Samwise! Sweet, gentle, and full of playful curiosity, Samwise is ready to find his forever family! Samwise is fantastic with kids and loves playing with his foster’s 4-year-old granddaughter. He’s also curious and confident around the resident dogs, often approaching the gate without hesitation, so he’d likely do well in a home with cat-friendly dogs. He’s currently part of a big, happy group with two moms and seven sibling kittens. He loves to chase and wrestle with his littermates, then snuggle up for a cozy group nap. While he hasn’t met other cats outside his foster crew, his easygoing nature suggests he’d get along just fine with new feline friends. Samwise is a little more reserved than some of his siblings at first, but he warms up quickly and becomes incredibly affectionate. Once he feels comfortable, he’ll gladly climb into your lap, soak up all the cuddles he can get, and often fall asleep purring contentedly. This curious kitten enjoys all kinds of play, batting at toys, climbing scratching posts, and engaging in wand toy adventures. He’s a wonderful balance of playful energy and sweet snuggles. Samwise is also one of the “helpers” in the foster room, always eager to supervise chores like sweeping and scooping litter boxes (in his own adorable way).
