My story

Gem might be a little shy right now, but with time, patience, and the right family, we know she’ll blossom into the gem she truly is! She’s a quiet observer, perfectly happy hanging out near people but if you get too close, she’ll make a swift (and adorable) getaway. She’s great with other cats and even tolerates calm dogs and kids, as long as they respect her space. While she’s still learning to trust human touch, she’s making progress every day! But when it comes to playtime? Oh, she’s all in! From toy mice to string toys and even socks (seriously, socks are her FAVORITE) Gem loves to bat, chase, and pounce. And she’s not just playful; she’s a little chatterbox, happily talking away when playing with her feline friends! This sweet 6-month-old would thrive in a quiet home, ideally with other cats, and with a patient adopter who will give her the time she needs to trust and bond.
