My story

If you’re looking for a cat with character, Artemis is your girl. She’s talkative, a little sassy, and incredibly intelligent — the kind of cat who will meet you at the door with a meow and a story, then challenge your puzzle toy just for fun. Artemis is moderately active and always up for a good play session, especially if springs or treat puzzles are involved. She enjoys being petted (especially on her terms) and will happily curl up on your lap — until she decides it’s time to move on. Her affection is real, just not over-the-top. She’s not one for purring, but she does show love in other ways, like sleeping in bed with her favorite humans (her current favorite is an 11-year-old!) and loyally trailing her people around the house. She’s incredibly smart and would likely thrive with someone interested in teaching her tricks or giving her regular enrichment. Birdwatching stations highly encouraged! Artemis has strong opinions about her bathroom situation. She does not like litter robots and needs a traditional open-top litter box that is cleaned often. She’s tidy and consistent. Artemis is bold, bright, and full of personality. She’s not your average cuddler — she’s something more interesting. She’s the cat who will challenge you, charm you, and then fall asleep at your feet like she owns the place. (Spoiler: she kind of does.)
