My story

Meet Apricot Delight! Apricot Delight is a super cuddly boy with a passion for household management! Whether you're sweeping, vacuuming, or scooping the litter box, he must be involved—he’s your tiny orange supervisor with a big personality. This social butterfly loves to be noticed and will make sure he’s front and center for every chore, cuddle, and snack. He thrives in the company of other cats and would do best with a furry sibling—maybe his buddy Tangerine Dream, or pals like Cabbage or Turnip. He’s also wonderful with older cats, bringing gentle energy and lots of love. Apricot is a treat connoisseur: temptations, sardines, and churus are the way to his heart, and he’ll be your best friend if you share! If you're looking for a cat who’s equal parts snuggly, silly, and socially savvy, Apricot Delight is ready to join your home and your cleaning crew. Apricot Delight is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
