My story

Characteristics -shy with certain people, loves other dogs, active, relaxed around people she feels comfortable with, sweet, beautiful blue eyes; Coat-needs to be groomed; doesn’t shed; House-trained-has always had access to a dog door so goes outside when she wants; Will need to learn to inform new family know when she needs to go outside. Health- up-to-date on vaccines; Addison’s disease; Good in Home with –other dogs; quiet and calm; Adoption fee-$250 Blondie’s owner passed away last year. The family is unable to keep her. She likes to lounge on the couch and watch TV. She has access to a doggie door so goes outside to go to the bathroom and explore (Invisible Fence) at her leisure. Because of this arrangement she has not had the need to be leashed or crated. She does like to be with people she is comfortable with and great at being the copilot on golf cart rides. She is on the shy side and will be elusive with strangers and some people but if she likes you she will love you to death. She is not a barker. Blondie has Addison’s Disease. This is controlled with a monthly injection that can be given at home and ½ tablet of Prednisone, once a day. Presently, she eats Pro Plan dry, Fresh Pet canned and some pumpkin in the AM but isn’t on a prescription diet. If managed correctly, a dog with Addison’s Disease can live a typical lifespan.
