My story

Meet Bailey!Bailey is a 6-year-old Labrador Retriever mix with a heart as big as her sweet brown eyes. Weighing in at just 50 pounds, she’s the perfect size for snuggles—and cuddling happens to be her absolute favorite thing. Bailey would happily spend all day curled up with her people, even burrowed under a blanket if you’ll let her.She’s not just a cuddle bug, though—Bailey loves her toys! She’ll carry them to the couch or her dog bed to nap with, and her all-time favorites are balls and frisbees. She’s even caught a frisbee mid-air before and loves a little game when the mood strikes.Bailey is a gentle, affectionate girl who can be shy at first, but she warms up quickly and before long will be right by your side, making herself part of the family. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and kids, making her a great fit for almost any home.Her personality is calm and quiet, though she still enjoys little bursts of playtime fun. She’s a smart cookie, too—already crate trained, knows her name, comes when called, and has a handle on her basic commands. As long as her crate is cozy, she’s content when left alone.Like many dogs, Bailey can find new environments a little overwhelming, but with patience, positive reinforcement, and plenty of love, she adapts beautifully at her own pace.
