My story

Say hello to Disco! She is a 3 month old, grey domestic shorthair. Disco is curiosity, and charming and enjoys chasing imaginary foes and shoelaces, she enjoys leaping like a gymnast, or zooming around like she is racing, Zippy turns every moment into a celebration of playtime. Disco is looking for a home that can keep up with her spark and give her plenty of love, toys, and room to roam. If you’re ready for a whirlwind of fun wrapped in fur, Disco is waiting to meet you.Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. For information regarding the adoption process please visit our website or read the information below THANK YOU.ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second ChanceSPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $250 for puppies under 6 months of age and $200 for dogs older than 6 months. $150 for kittens under 6 months of age and $125 for cats older than 6 months.
