My story

Hi, I’m Sassy Smurf! Isn’t my nose smudge adorable?? I am very striking. I’m definitely a shy one and will need some extra patience when adjusting to my new home. What really will win me over is some squeezy-treats. No special flavor, but I will be your friend for a Churo. Humans are fascinating to me. I like to sit close by and just watch what you’re doing. My foster mom calls me “The Supervisor”. My favorite thing in the world? A spring toy! While I may seem super independent, I don’t like to be left completely alone, so I would love to have a kitty friend to keep me company. Are you interested in adopting Sassy Smurf or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center or Timber Drive next to Home Depot).
