My story

Hi, I’m Chato! I’m a lively, curious pup who loves to play, snuggle, and be right by your side. I’ve got tons of energy and a playful spirit that keeps life fun and exciting. I’m very smart, eager to learn, and always working on new skills—I pick things up quickly!  I can be shy at first, especially with new dogs or unfamiliar situations. Slow introductions help me build confidence, and once I settle in, my playful side shines through. I will do best in a house with a yard as dog parks are not for me. Walking is good though!  I love running, exploring, and wrestling with my foster sibling—it’s such a joy! When I first arrived, stairs and the doggy door were a little scary, but now I’ve mastered them. I’m housetrained, crate trained, and leash trained, though I still need practice with leash manners. With patience, an active home, and maybe a playful dog sibling, I’ll be the happiest, most loyal companion. My adoption fee is $425.     If you are interested in any of our Boston Terriers or would like to be eligible to adopt a Boston Terrier through our rescue in the future, please fill out an application. It can be found at www.texasbostons.com. Click on the Rescue tab and then on the Adopt Now! tab. Here you will find our adoption requirements along with a link for an online adoption application. This will allow you to get on our list of approved homes so you can immediately adopt a Boston Terrier when it becomes available through Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas. We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Please consider becoming a foster home for Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas. You can fill out a foster application at www.texasbostons.com. Click on the Rescue tab and then on the Foster Program tab. Here you will find our requirements for becoming a foster parent along with a link for an online foster application. This will allow you to possibly become a foster home for one of our little Boston Terriers in need. Thank you for considering the possibility of fostering for Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas!
