My story

A staff member writes: When Hera first arrived she was very timid and did not like to walk with us. With a lot and treats and patience she has improved and warmed up to us! We still need to carry her outside for her walks sometimes but when she gets outside, Hera walks next to you and is curious of the world. If you take a seat on a bench she will join you and sit next you, allowing gentle petting and leans against your legs and hands! Hera will do best in a home with someone who can go at her own pace and let her learn her surroundings. Help her build her confidence and let her personality bloom!
