My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:I lived with children in my previous home.I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.The staff think I would do best in a home where there are no other cats or dogs.Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!I have potential behavior challenges that staff will address with you when you meet me.I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.I am looking for a home with a patient person.I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you.A volunteer writes: Philly's a busy guy and told me as much when he went to hop over my arm and onto the floor. Places to go, people to see, you know how it goes. I told him I didn't because I'm actually more of a homebody, to which Philly considered for all of half a second (it's his way) and then presented me with his chin for some scritches. Theatrically stretching onto his side and reaching his paws, Philly conceded that staying in with good friends has some benefits. Cuddly and extraordinarily playful, Philly's a guy on the move. Chasing after his pipe cleaner feather or leaping onto his condo shelf and back into my arms, he always wants to be doing something. Brought to us from a home with many other cats when their guardian passed away, Philly's on the lookout for a fresh start and is hoping that it can be with you.
