My story

Meet precious Glitch! She arrived at the shelter on 3/20 with her sister, Pixel. Both girls were severely underweight and on a police hold. They are now available for adoption, and hoping to find loving, forever homes. These sweet sisters have been sitting in the shelter for 6 months and desperately need out. This is a tough place for a puppy to grow up, and they're quite stressed. They need a kind and patient family who understands decompression and will support them as they learn how to be dogs outside of the shelter. Both girls are very playful and fun loving. They LOVE treats and will work for them! They know several commands including sit, down, and stay. They are also brave and have learned how to go through a tunnel in the outdoor off leash area...maybe they'd enjoy agility! Glitch is approximately 10 months old and weighs 41 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Please come meet Glitch in kennel 21; her ID # is 8866. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
