My story

Our hearts break for Canello and his buddy Pecas. Their owner was moving and could not take them. They arrived to the shelter on 8/11. Canello is 8 months old and weighs in at 49 pounds. He is quite scared of the shelter. He knows to sit when asked. He could use some patient teaching on how to walk with a leash. Canello deserves a second chance at a forever home filled with love. Would you be his hero? Ask for ID# 12709 Run 859. He will be neutered soon and micro-chipped upon adoption. He has tested negative for heart worm. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
