My story

Hi, I'm Brock! I'm a ~1 year old neutered male Aussie/Setter mix, weighing about 40 lbs. Once a stray, I'm now ready to find my forever home and put down some roots. I may not know everything about being a perfect pup (leashes are still a work in progress!), but I do know that I'd thrive in a home with a cozy fenced-in yard where I can run, play, and feel safe. I'm a good boy who adores people and dogs alike, and I'm always up for making new friends! I've never met a cat, so I'm not sure how I feel about them. Despite my rough start, I've got a heart full of love to give, and I'm looking for someone to give me a second chance. I'm medically up-to-date, crate trained, and housebroken. Will you be my hero and give me the loving home I've been dreaming of?! As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save.
