My story

Hi my name is Delilah. I’m 1 year old and a compact ball of energy. I might still look like a puppy, but I’m not. I’m pretty much house trained and love to eat and sleep in my kennel. It takes me a little bit to get use to new people and dogs, but after a day or two, everything is good and I just want to be your buddy and be with you all the time. I love other dogs and don’t mind cats. I’m a quick learner, but I need a leader to help me feel more confident with new things. It would be great to have a house mate to play with. It would also be great if there was a fenced yard to play in as I like to be outside and I like to run off my zoomies too but inside I can be quite chill and chew on my toys. I’m usually quiet, and you will hardly know I’m around unless I’m lying next to you, which will be as much as possible. I really like belly rubs and more importantly your hands on me. And in exchange, I will give you all the doggy kisses that I can. You’ll call me a Velcro ball but I just love you.--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions.
