My story

This handsome boy is Maximus! He arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 8/26, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe Maximus as friendly and attentive to the people around him. He knows several commands including sit and shake. Maximus is approximately 5 years old and weighs 77 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, has been neutered, and did test negative for heartworms. He will be microchipped upon adoption. Please come meet Maximus in run 86; his ID # is 13175. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
