My story

How this pet arrived: Phillip was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement Why Phillip might be the one for you: We don't know why but when we look into Phillip's soft eyes and kindly face, that song about a hound dog runs through our mind. Phillip, with his floppy (but very soft) ears and distinctive white markings is ready to be someone's much loved dog. With a wagging tail, he comes up to people and wants pets. He walks well on a leash. We don't know yet how he is with other dogs or animals so if he is not the only pet in the household, he will need to be introduced to the other pets slowly and carefully. We can help you with that. A consistent routine and fun, enriching activities will help Phillip get used to his new home and feel like part of his new family! At over 70 pounds, Phillip is a big guy who needs lots of space and activities. But, he is a lap dog in his heart and you may find this 70 pound guy on your lap as you settle in for some downtime together. Phillip will be your loyal protector and your funny clown.
