My story

How this pet arrived: Rex was brought in by a community member. At SDHS: Rex has been vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered and is now ready for his new home! Why Rex might be the one for you:Meet Rex Washburn who we will call Rex because he looks like a Rex dog. Rex is a popular name for dogs and is associated with strength and loyalty because it means king. Our Rex fits the bill for being a king dog who will put loyalty and protection front and center. Rex, with his big straight up ears and searching eyes does not miss anything. He is always on the alert, except when he is playing with his toys which is often. He throws them up, runs around with them in his mouth and then settles down to chew on them. He is very friendly around other dogs and might prefer a dog buddy. He likes full body pets and hugs. He knows that his heavy fur coat will need frequent brushing and grooming which he will appreciate because he is proud of his looks.
