Maybelline

My story

Meet Maybelline, a sweet 4-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix looking for a loving home. She's very friendly with people and other dogs but can be a bit skittish, so a calm home with older children (10+) would be ideal. Maybelline has been deeply loved by our family since she was a puppy, but due to my mom health issues, she can no longer get the exercise and attention Maybelline needs to thrive. Maybelline is currently overweight and would benefit from a proper diet and regular activity to get her back to a healthy weight, which is what we are attempting to do, but difficult with current living situations. She enjoys gentle walks and being around people who make her feel safe. She's a loyal, sweet girl who will flourish with patience, structure, and love. We are not in a rush to rehome her, she's safe and cared for, but we want to find the right home where she can continue to be treated like family.
