My story

Meet Reinhardt, a handsome ~4 year old male mini schnauzer, weighing about 15-20 lbs! He came to us with his “sister” Maze.  Reinhardt is a very sweet guy - a bit reserved with new people but comes around quickly!  He is good with people and other dogs. He hasn’t been kid tested, but we believe older kids or no kids would be best since he prefers a calmer environment. He hasn’t been cat tested yet.  He is housebroken and crate trained. He will be getting neutered and medically up to date prior to adoption - we are accepting apps for him now but he’s not *quite* ready to go home quite yet.  Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save.
