Meet King Davis! 👑This 1-year-old large mixed breed is exactly what his name suggests—a king! Big, handsome, and full of personality, King Davis is a goofy royal who loves life and wants to be treated like the star he is.King Davis is outgoing and affectionate—he loves everyone he meets! He does sometimes jump up to greet new friends, so while he means no harm, he might accidentally knock over little ones. He’s really just a big, goofy baby at heart.Playtime is his favorite time! King Davis loves to run, chase toys, and especially wrestle with squeaky stuffed animals or challenge you to a game of tug-of-war (fair warning: he’s the reigning champ 🏆). Because he’s strong, playful, and athletic, a fenced yard will be required for his adoption.This smart boy already knows some basic commands and would love to keep learning in training classes. He picks up new things quickly and thrives when he’s given a job to do or an adventure to go on.King Davis is looking for an active family who can keep up with his energy and enthusiasm. He also has a sweet, affectionate side—he loves being pet and soaking up attention from his people. He’s happiest when he’s got his best friends cheering him on.When it comes to other pets, King Davis does well with medium to large dogs who can match his play style, but he can be too much for small dogs or cats. On leash, he’s strong, but with his smarts and eagerness to please, he has tons of potential to improve quickly.King Davis is ready to find his forever family—one that will give him love, structure, and plenty of playtime.
