Billy is a big, lovable pup with a heart as big as his paws! He’s bouncy, friendly, and always ready to make new friends. Treats are his absolute favorite and a sure way to his heart. Billy is looking for a forever family who’s ready for puppy energy, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. If you’re searching for a goofy, sweet companion to brighten your days, Billy is your guy!IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOMESIZE:46 lbs. and still growing!HOME TYPE:Any. CHILDREN:Yes- Older children who currently live with or have previously lived with a large dog are potentially compatible. CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:Yes- cats potentially compatible with slow proper introduction.OTHER DOGS:Yes- Dogs potentially compatibleACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:High; will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:First time dog owner possible. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:At least two in-person training sessions to work on socialization, basic training and manners (including leash manners). Billy can also be pushy with his interactions, and would benefit from working on his self control. HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:Very human social and energetic!
