My story

Hi, I`m Elfie! I`m a cute little beagle/coonhound mix who is ready to find my forever home! I`m a playful, energetic girl who loves to do the natural hound activities of snooping, tracking, and baying (on occasion). I am an affectionate girl who loves attention, and I get along with people of all ages. I enjoy the company of other dogs, but since I am a little on the submissive side, I need a little bit of time to become comfortable before playing with new dog friends. I`m ready to go on a walk with a new dog friend right away though! I would do fine with cats who want to play, or cats who are willing to tell me to cut it out if I am doing too much. I am a smart girl - I am working on my obedience skills but am looking forward to doing more learning in my new household so that I can be the best dog I can be.
