My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.I am looking for a home with a patient person.I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.A volunteer writes: Christofur sits right at the edge of his condo cubby with paws politely tucked in hopes someone will see him waiting. He wants so much to make a connection, but since Christofur usually chooses to sit in his cubby and not the main condo, finding new friends and a family hasn't been the easiest to come by. Christofur's curious and charmingly interested in what we're doing, just from his cubby. Leaning his head to meet my hand, he was happy for all pets and scritches. In hopes of building a friendship, I tried to offer some treats to get him to come to the main part of the condo but Christofur is someone who likes to take the lead with these things and we love him for that.
